Timberland’s environmental vision for 2030 does not beat around the bush

Today, the brand announced a new vision for how Timberland will change the interaction with nature and that its products shall have a “net positive impact” on nature by 2030. The new vision directly supports VF’s Made for Change sustainability strategy. To achieve this, Timberland has set up a goal that 100% of future products are to be designed for circularity and that all-natural materials are to be sourced from regenerative agriculture.

Timberland’s environmental work dates back more than a decade. In 2007 the brand launched the before-its-time Earthkeepers boot made from only organic and renewable materials. And in 2015 Timberland met its 10-year goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50%.
